چکیده

Sigma monitoring is a key component of the real-time integrity verification capability demonstrated by the Stanford University Local Area Augmentation System (LAAS) Ground Facility prototype known as the Integrity Monitor Testbed (IMT). The IMT has both sigma estimation and sigma Cumulative Sum (CUSUM) algorithms to detect small and large sigma violations, respectively. When combined with a prior probability distribution for the sigma parameter being monitored and the use of Bayes’ rule, the CUSUM can provide a realtime posterior distribution of sigma based on the current CUSUM state. This paper presents the methodology for this “Bayesian CUSUM” technique and shows how it could be used to enhance integrity monitoring while better preserving continuity and availability.

Smart Device-Supported BDS/GNSS Real-Time Kinematic Positioning for Sub-Meter-Level Accuracy in Urban Location-Based Services

Using mobile smart devices to provide urban location-based services (LBS) with sub-meter-level accuracy (around 0.5 m) is a major application field for future global navigation satellite system (GNSS) development. Real-time kinematic (RTK) positioning, which is a widely used GNSS-based positioning approach, can improve the accuracy from about 10-20 m (achieved by the standard positioning servic...

Dynamic Reconfiguration in a GNSS Software Defined Radio for Multi-Constellation Operation

Recent advances in the US GPS constellation have resulted in additional signals being made available for both military and civil applications. The modernized GPS signal structure now includes signals broadcast on three frequencies with both the legacy GPS modulation codes, additional civilian codes, and also additional military codes on L1 and L2. In the next few years, GNSS users will also be ...
